Although i still would'nt mine seeing Wicked Prayer . I think it's time for a fresh plot. If it were up to me i would let a well known actress take the lead part as The Crow there is only two women i can think of with the look, and acting ability,. Kate Beckinsale and Angelina Jolie. My first pick would be Angelina Jolie . I would make the plot with a good crow and a bad crow both swearing death on each other that would be cool

I do agree that a new plot would be refreshing, although with the crow that might be a bit of a trick. It's hard to stray from the "hero dies. Hero feels sorrow. Hero is brought back from the dead by crow. Hero triumphs" storyline, but I'm sure someone could do it.
I also agree that a female lead would be refreshing. I would have a hard time seeing Angelina Jolie as a crow character just as I find Ed Furlong a little hard to swallow. I like how in the past they used relatively unknowns in the leads (yes, even Mr. Lee was relatively unknown as an actor at that point.). Kate Beckinsdale would be pretty good and I also think that Virginie Ledoyen (The Beach) would fit the role. Maybe after seeing her in the beach one would not be convinced, however I found some photos of her online that did convince me that she could definitely maintain the look. No matter what, I am excited for Wicked Prayer. A true fan always appreciates a continuance of the Crow Legacy. James O'Barr is da Man!

By the by, would it be wrong of me to say that I would like to see that whole good female crow vs a bad crow and have Brittany Spears in the evil role just to see her slaughtered?? Kidding! I would never want the true crow fans subjected to her mug in these movies.

a female crow would be refreshing. I actually had a story in mind but i really like to keep that to myself.

In my dreams I always saw a feamle crow as either asia argento(scarlet diva, red siren) or alison loham (white oleander and big fish)

maybe even elish cuthbert. she can act...

There was a Crow comic book with the full blessings of the original author, James O'Barr, where the crow was a woman. It's called "The Crow: Flesh & Blood". Here a link to some info about it.
