| 'The Grinch' Hits Video & DVD This November |
SUBMITTED BY SpySoldier October 7, 2001 — Coming Soon! has reported some info on 'The Grinch' DVD... "The video version of "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas," the top-grossing movie of 2000 ($260M), will be released on Nov. 20 with one of Universal Studios' biggest marketing promotions ever, reports Variety. Studio executives this week have already began making presentations to key retail accounts at the Universal Studios Florida theme park in Orlando. The trade says that Universal has locked in multiple promotional partners, including Hershey Foods, Wendy's, First Book and Heinz North America, which will introduce bottles of Grinch-green ketchup, similar to those being introduced this summer in promotion of the DreamWorks theatrical release "Shrek."
