Man, I'm surprised this is actually greenlit! I'm even more surprised that Christian Bale is up for it! I mean, don't get me wrong, I think that this could make one kickass movie if it had a good story behind it and if both Bale and Routh were up for it. It just seems like it would only make it to video or something...

Amen sister. This new dude (or maybe I should say DUD) who's playing Superman now doesn't look anything like Superman is supposed to. I mean LOOK at him for God sake! He's WAY too young, has absolutely NO muscle mass, and his chin is so NOT square that it looks like something an aunt would pinch.
BOY do I hope his acting skills make up for this.

Well Charles Roven said that the film had an excellent script... and it seems that both Superman and Batman have had good results... this thing may happen!
this movie wouldnt even go into production until 2009, that is until batman begins part 2 comes out in '08. and thats assuming they feel its necessery to make this, as there are 2 more superman sequels to be released hopefully, so it would be very strange for them to bring out a vs movie with a different actor whilst brandon routh is doing the superman returns movies
