Older or younger, wheelchair or not, costume or not. Christopher Reeve like those that came before, George and Kirk and even Dean, will always be Superman!Whomever is chosen now , let us just hope they capture the essence of the hero from the heart as those that came before did so well!

I think a lot of it is also his name. Christopher Reeve. I think, because of the s and the v, that it has a sort of flying, soaring, sound to it. It just seems to fit in with the whole Superman persona. I'm being dead serious, but I'm also kind of talking out of my ass lol.

But, of course, there was also his brilliant performance. Perhaps the greatest portrayal of Superman I have ever seen. Dean Cain Was really good, though. I liked that show a lot.
