Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
Seen it, hated it.
Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
I have some questions. Why hire one of the most gifted comedians of our time and have him play the most boring character in the history of cinema? In The Truman Show he played a serious figure yet the character was INTERESTING. Also, wouldn't the procedure in the movie cost millions? And why is his memory erased by a bunch of unproffesional misfits in his flat-its too stupid. And don't get me started on Kirsten Dunst and that old guy-yeah right! She's 12 and he's 105. All this and I havent even mentioned how wierd the bulk of the movie is. It all takes place in his mind and is frankly non-sensicle garbage. They should have made this as a full blown comedy with Carrey having just had the sugery, coming out of hospital and going out with his old girlfriend again. Im sure theres more comedy potential to this situation than this feeble film displays. Carrey in jimjams as a baby? The films one attempt at physical comedy failing miserably. And before anybody says I just don't understand THAT type of humour, I loved Being John Malkovich. Why? Cause in its own way, it was ENTERTAINING.
DVD Review: N/A
Thoughts on the DVD release of this movie...
There's more chance of the aliens from Signs drinking bottles of Evian in the streets than there is of me buying the dvd of Eternal Sunshine.
