he works for lacuna...

he and his friend (mark ruffalo) do somthing to jims head so that they can monitor what jim does...

and thats what elijah does the whole movie.....monitor jims thoughts

oh he also falls in love with the main girl (i forgot her name at the moment) and so he pretends to be jim in the movie to make her fall in love with him (that backstaber) but oh well he is SO hot!

well after he whipes clamintim (winslet) from jims mind....he then steals her from jim and jim whould never know he was once in love wit her
