Resident Evil: Extinction “who is the director?” — bladednebula [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Now, I loved the first 2 movies, after seeing the first installment I couldn't help but get excited over hearing about the second. However, I feel Paul W.S Anderson is, despite many peoples oppinions, more than capable of directing the third movie. Granted, he is a screenplay writer, not a director. But if Anderson is writing and directing then his whole vision of what the film should be comes to life. It seems stupid that they passed on the directing to Alexander Witt. At the moment, I hate the atittude given by film critics, for example that fat guy on Sky TV (Idiot). They all seem to have the idea that the films aren't arty enough and such. Why does it have to be arty? It is all about ass kicking girls, big guns and great explosions. Get over it critics! Anticipation is massive in my eyes! Can't wait. Anderson to direct!
