| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |
|
Ok, the first movie was bad enough. Not only did Anderson stray from the original storyline, he decided to get the worst actors around (except for possibly Michelle Rodriguez), and make possibly the worst script around since Romero's "dead" trilogy.
After this film was released, for some reason everybody liked it. But after a while, they came to realise that it wasn't that good. But Anderson thought otherwise.
"I know! Lets make it into a trilogy!"
And for some strange reason, both Capcom AND the film companies accepted this (calling it talent), and gave him the money to do it.
Now, the second film is currently being filmed...and it looks terrible.
Jill Valentine is no longer a STARS member (and never was, so don't go quoting RE3).
Dr Ashford is in a wheelchair...and is also human (despite everything we are told in CV/CVX).
Carlos is the leader of a whole platoon (which he wasn't in RE3).
The little girl used to model the red queen is Dr Ashford's daughter, and is in RE: Apocalypse...but guess what, she ain't Alexia.
and there are many more things...includeing a Pimp with twin Uzi's.
And still...people are proclaiming that these films are excelltn and they are thrilled to see a third film in development!
Why is this? Are people attracted to B movies?
I'm giving this an honest 0 stars for anticipation...because the first was crap, the second looks worse...so going by that, a third film will be the worst. |
