Zap2it...
Nothing says action like a royale with cheese and a foot massage.
These memorable topics of conversation, along with copious amounts of violence and bloodshed, are just part of the reason Men's Journal magazine has named Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" as the best action DVD of all time.
On a list of DVDs nominated by the magazine's readers, the films are evaluated on their bonus features, key dialogue lines and general kick-ass attitude.
Tarantino's 1994 film, which also won him the Oscar for best original screenplay, stars a first-rate ensemble cast including Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta. Men's Journal selects the auteur's interview on "Charlie Rose" as one of the best bonuses on the two-disc collector's edition DVD.
Rounding out the Top 10 best action DVDs are: Mel Gibson's Scottish historical epic drama "Braveheart," the Russell Crowe-starring sword and sandal flick "Gladiator," the first installment of the "Lethal Weapon" franchise, the western "Tombstone," "Saving Private Ryan," "Top Gun," "Star Wars," "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the sci-fi thriller "Predator."
The December issue of Men's Journal, on newsstands now, has the complete list of 25 best action DVDs.
