this is not about the movie at all ok

so don't even post i liked it or i hated it here about the movie

this is about the game spider-man 3 for

wii..x-box360...ps3 did anyone like it

i got it for ps3 and it's not to bad and yes i know this should really be in the gameing forum but it's spiderman so i put it here

me i like the game for ps3 but number 2 still the best

Spider-man 2 was good and all but that damn balloon gets on my nerves.

I thought the Spider-man 3 game was the best of the three.The interactive cutscenes really gave you a feel for the spider reflexes. Plus the use of the spider sense to locate key points or hidden items was genious.

But in the end I would still say you're better off just renting it. I've got all three but I collect a lot of Spidey mercandise and comics. I haven't played any of them in the longest time though.

Spider-Man 3 the game (Wich is also on PS2, PC, Nintendo DS, PSP, GBA) Was a pretty good game But the controls where a bit off. I have no idea of many times i ended up going the wrong way on that, wether i was juming, swinging or running. And those gang mission where really repetative. Plus whats the deal with having to retrive a box of Hostes fruit pies from the gang? I know there was advertismens for the pies in like evrey comic in the old days but that was just stupid.

Yeah the game itself had some very cool things to it, like the spider sense button tapping thing, but I'll still say Spiderman 2 was the better game. In fact I'll go so far as to say that Spiderman 2 is one of the best games ever made. I never even finished 3 before I traded it in, completely lost interest.

I am having such a hard time collecting those spider emblems, following the strategy map on the spider-man 3 guide is as useful as finding a flee on an elephants A##.

best thing to do is to set all of your volumes on low except for the special effects volume and listen for a humming sound to find them.

by the way if you collect all after you finish the game you can use the black suite without any of the side effects that you had to deal with during the game.

spider-man 2 best game and movie, just goes to show how much they put into Spider-Man 3. I mean I loved the whole spiderman in the city week thing but, they should have put more effort in the movie and game....

I made the mistake of getting Spider-man 3 for the PS2. IT SUCKED. That's what happens when Teryarch isn't at the helm. On next gen, SM3 looks great. But Ultimate Spider-man is still my favorite.

I thought it was a fairly decent game, I just worry about Spider-man 4, if The Lizard and Kraven are the villains in the movie, the game will feel very repetitive from the Lizard "missions" in spider-man 3.

that would be an awesome storyline though for the exception of the other lizards that would look gay in a movie. Make more sense as to tying in Kraven the hunter.

I have the ps2 and 3 versions

Ps2 Version was made by different developers and its obvious...its pathetic and a step down from Spidey 2 (ps2).glitches everywhere, horrible graphics, even compared with Spidey 2.

The PS3 version, while feeling much like it predecessor in terms of controls, is visually stunning all the way around. The cityscape is amazing, the character movement is more Spider-Man than ever, plus Black Suited Spider-Man is his own character which you can select in the pause menu (New Goblin too on SE) rather than the lame switch button on the ps2, and nothing beats web swinging as BK Spidey on one of the next Gen consoles. I can only speak for the PS3 but I'm sure its the same only better on the 360.

You can go in the subways this time. Nice plus.

The story is a bit weaker this time, but I did like the Gang Specific storylines, the mini crime games had mini storylines (sweet), and fighting Sandman in the Subway was awesome.

I have the SE edition and can play New Goblin. Fun flying and fighting, but you dont get any stories, only one kind of mini crime fighting sequences (Generic mass em up) and when cops or otherwise talk to you, they call you Spider-man. That aside, its fun flying on Goblins sky stick. Id like Venom to be a downloadable character one day.

I actually just beat this game on my 360 about a week ago. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. To be honest I enjoyed the storyline of the game more than that of the movie. You not only face Sandman, New Goblin and Venom but also face Lizard, Kraven, (which I found somewhat annoying) Scorpion, Rhino, and even Kingpin. The gang missions were pretty cool and you get a better feeling of a true change in Peter from the regular costume to the Symbiote costume. One mission with the black costume was to swing as fast and crazy as you can to scare the crap out of MJ. It really was a pretty good game and also a quick way to earn some achievement points. I spent less than a week on it and unlocked about 630 points before I sent it back to Gamefly. If you liked part 2 you will definitely like part 3.

I didn't like Ultimate Spider-man so much. I thought the gameplay was sooooo repetitive. Chase a bad guy, fight the bad guy chase another bad guy, fight the bad guy. The swinging was also nowhere near as fun as on Spiderman 2.
However, it looks amazing and the dialogue was great.
