Obviously this trilogy is full of cliches and cheese ball lines but what is the best? For me it has to be the Aunt May "There's a hero in all of us" speeches, so cheesy

I personally hate the adjective cheesy but it is a perfect way to describe the 3rd film in particular.
I personally hated the patriotic run past the GIGANTIC American flag before swinging into action.

Yeah, that unfortunately probably takes the cake. Most of the time I can deal with cheesy-ness and all that stuff, but that makes me roll my eyes every time I see it.

Oh yeah and also the emo hair flick. He's talking to Brock or JJJ or someone and he flicks his beautiful fringe back and gives a cheeky smile.

Lets see, that scene in the backyard in Spider-Man 1, where they do that "I'm not" "You're not?" exchange. As well as the hopistal scene with MJ and Aunt May

The scene in the backyard in Spider-Man 2, with the "Oh boy yeah" "Oh boy yeah, what?" exchange.

And most of Spider-Man 3 was cheesy.

I honestly think that Sam Raimi should leave the series and they should restart it with Ultimate Spider-Man with Bendis writing and a new director.

I liked that scene.

In fact, with the exception of any scene mentioned from part 3, I liked all the supposed "cheesy" scenes mentioned in this thread.

Obviously, the whole dance scene in part 3 where he was doing his John Travolts deal was not only cheesy, but painful to watch.

Well, im gonna say right after the opening credits. After that, the movie became cheesy. So about 94% of the movie.

Spider-Man 3 was constipated with cheese.

So much to name, but I'll go with the top 3:
  1. Everyone cheering for Spider-Man with the whole parade.
  2. Harry trying to break apart Peter and MJ
  3. The whole ideal of the final battle.
I'm sure there's others that belong in those spots.

Spider-Man 3 WAS one big cheesy moment.

From Spider-Man 2 though, I'll have to go with the "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" bit.

First I wanna say that I my stomach hurts because people say they hated the giant american flag part. I remember watching it and saying "Bravo to Raimi for not being a coward like Singer was with Superman Return by saying 'Truth, Justice, all the stuff' instead of the real saying." So I loved the big flag part. And I agree that the jazz scene and the emo hair fix shouldn't have been in the movie, they weren't really cheezy, just bad scenes. No, what I say is cheezy is in 2 when that guy goes "Hey, Spiderman just stole that guy's pizza!" and the twenty times he had to push that stupid broom back into the closet before it would shut.

Wait, people are naming scenes that I would never even consider near cheesy.
It seems like people are just naming random scenes. Which leads me to a question I often ask.

What exactly is your definition of cheesy?
What does cheesy mean...for you?

Thank God someone mentioned that crappy scene. Everybody mentions the dance scene from SM3, but "raindrops" from SM2 had to be just as bad, if not worse. I'm goin with worse.
