| Spider-Man 3 didn't suck. The fanboys, comic book nerds and the hardcore fans just couldn't stand it and hated it. Who enjoyed it are the true fans and they didn't care about the flaws, changes, or the errors. I'm threw of hearing the criticism and the bashing of the comic book films that I love because its freaking old news and its really annoying.

And yes, Spider-Man 3 sucked. It's semi-enjoyable, but still heavily flawed.
As much of the country is left stranded for Christmas due to a storm, I wonder what are their thoughts on the credibility of Global Warming? HAHA...

Even without the comic books this was a horrid movie. Emo Spider man with his eyeliner I half expected him to go to a my chemical romance concert. Dance Scene(I don't really need to say more than that) and they left the plot difficult to come back for a sequel by killing not only interesting villians but also Harry Osbourne who was a great pro/antagonist. They ended pete and mj's relationship pretty nastily. How they are supposed to recover from that is beyond me.
The acting was subpar compared to the others films it seemed to me as if the actors knew it was going to be bad and didn't really give it their all. I swear Sam Raimi phoned in this movie from a vacation.
If you want to bring in the comics what they did to Gwen Stacey made me want to puke. Gwen Stacey's death was a huge moment in both Spidey's life and comic book history and Raimi managed to turn her into the other woman.
Also 5 minutes of screentime before Venom meets his end.
Yes I know I should be using spoiler tags but i am hoping to ruin this movie for people so they won't waste money on it.

I completely agree, If they came out with a "director's cut" and editied out about 20 minutes of dance numbers rather than adding any deleted scenes, it would be a much more watchable film.
And I don't care if you are a comic-geek fan or a casual fan or just a fan of the films, the dancing made no sense. Peter puts on the costume which is supposed to consume him. He has always been about power/responsibility, so the first time he is in a situation where he no longer adhears to that principle, what does he do? He dances. Wha?
This was an opportunity to show what someone with his powers but without his restraint would do. But they blew that opportunity, chosing to go for goofy humor rather than drama. Comedy is fine, when it is used at the right moment. In the first film, when Spiderman is in the elevator, that is a great scene. But the dancing in part 3 was a huge mistake.

Yep and whos fault was that oh Avi Arad of course it was all his fault wasnt it. It was Raimis fault fans just wont admit it. Even Venom, even though I like him you carnt let a producer force you to put something in that you dont want, Raimi was a pus$y on that and adding rediculas humor which wasnt needed when there telling a dark story. You put less as possible if anything.
All I can say is REBOOT REBOOT lol.

Even I agree with this....I still don't like the way Venom was portrayed, but if they left out the dancing crap at least I might be able to watch the film again.
I had so much fun burning the DVD I bought the BluRay disc to do it again and see if made any different colors...

I remeber when i saw the trailer for the first time, I believed that spiderman 3 was a movie I had to see before i died, and that nothing was going to get in the way of that.
I saw the movie at the IMAX and everything, and when I left the theater, I felt so cheated, that is my story.

Wow, it left an opening for a 4th? damn. more dancing. You do know that ANY movie can have a sequal right? Look at T2. Ended perfectly, and oh, there's a part 3, 4,5,6 now. well i will say this spider man 3 was alright. i enjoyed it, but too much 'emo spidey' and lets face it i nearly laughed my arse off when tobey maguire attempted to cry at the end. his mouth makes a wierd position lol. i think its because he's a vegan and he hasn't had a decent meal in a long time but who really knows.. venom was cool and he's not dead! i just hope the vulture isn't going to be in number 4 or mysterio for that matter...two weakest villains in the spidey franchize if u ask me. bring on kraven the hunter!! and carnage!! |

Same here. I don't really care what the others say and even the one that told me to shut up. They just can't see any good quality in this film at all. They are just being hateful and just being stubborn because they just want a perfect comic book film that totally follows the comic book but they don't want a humanly film. Who loves the film are the true fans not the fanboys.
