Symbiote, Eddie was too much of a p**** in that movie. If they do bring in Eddie Sr. then i'd have him, and then that sets up the ORIGINAL Venom story for SM5, with maybe Carnage.

Iagree. Tough we know Conners still has that sample in his lab. But the qestion there is will that be used to create Carnage like in the ultimate comics or will like Eddie SR. get a hold of it somhow?

Frankly i'd rather not have any more symbioests in the movies.

I disagree. Symbiotes don't always have to be lame, sometimes venom is done very well in the comics.
Spiderman's got much worse villains. Like vulture, chameleon and i'd even say Sandman. The original bad guys just don't hold up anymore.

I did say they where lame but still shouldn't be in the movies, altleast not Spider-Man's. These movies are suposed to be more realistic and also have a more scientific aproch. How is a damn alien parasite that take it's host by becoming a living costume realistic or scientific? Heck even putting Sandman in the film is a streach.

I think venom's origin is a LOT more realistic than sandmans. At least with venom, it cannot be proven absolute ridiculous as we do not know if aliens exist. whereas with sand... well we pretty much know for fact that a living human being cannot be made of sand.

And spiderman's other enemies aren't realistic either. Lizard is slightly more acceptable.

But Sand-Man origin in the movie still went with the theme that as been reacuring in the Spidey movies. The science aproch. He stubled onto the testing ground for Quest idustries (The rival company of Ozcorp in the first movie) Where they where doing an experiment to create demolecuularization with sand. Supposedly the sand paticels got mixed into his DNA. While no this is not realitic it fits in better with the movies plot than an alein does.

Thats true but I don't think they needed to make it exactly the same as the other two. They don't need to make them all scientific experiment based. Why not have a villain that deviates away from the others?
And I still completely disapprove of the choice of Sandman. I mean theres a big difference between a guy making himself strong and insane with a serum with a guy welding metal tentacles to his spine and a guy who gets turned into sand...

The symbiote IS still alive. Doesn't anyone here remember that Peter gave a piece of the costume to Dr. Connors to analyze?

Yes i said that above. And how that peice could aslo become Carnage like in the Ultimate universe.

Curt Connors had created a rejuvenating symbiotic suit using the work of Spider-Man's late father Richard Parker: the Venom "suit". After a series of mishaps, the suit went missing, and Connors worried that years of work had been destroyed. But a new opportunity presented itself. After an injury, Peter Parker sought out Connors' help in treating his wounds, and Connors ended up with a sample of Spider-Man's genetically altered blood.

Using the blood, Connors begins to create a new organism based partly on the Venom project. Using DNA from himself, the Venom project, and Peter, Connors developed a unique, self-regenerating form of life. This blood-red creature grew from a few inches long to the size of a child very rapidly, and quickly escaped. The creature drained the fluids from several victims, rapidly increasing its mass and strength.

That little piece of symbiote at Connors's lab wouldn't be enough to do a new Venom or Carnage. It really too small, that I doubt it would be enough to created a suit. After all, the symbiote that took over both Spidey & Brock was big enough to cover their body while the small one in Connors's lab isn't enough to cover the whole body. Thus, Venom & Carnage in any future sequel is very unlikely. At least I hope no more symbiotes.

ok so a guy getting bitten by a genetic enhanced spider is realistic ? ? ? That is scientifically impossible as well so you can throw out the science part of it. I really love it when people try to use the word realistic in a science fiction area, I mean people do know what that means right ?

No but it fits into the whole science thing because it was genectcly altered by science. Yes i know what sceince fiction is. But the movies where supposed to be more down to eath as in no ALIENS!
