They said the film is largely CGI based.
Plus, Topher needs buffing up via CGI.

I was against this film but after seeing these pics I must agree with a lot of you that said this movie would make the most money this. You are so right. POTC 3 and Transformers DO NOT stand a chance up against this movie. Wow.

Its funny you say that because the week after SM3 comes out, Shrek 3 is suposed to come out, and the week after that, POTC 3 is suposed to come out, and those are all Grossing Movies, Of corse I'll see all three. this is probubly the best movie year ever.

Wow. Some of the mid transformation on Topher look disturbing with seeing how his face's skins look like it twisting & such. And he surely as hell don't look skinny. He isn't massive like a bodybuilder, but he surely is no string beans. Of course, I expect some fanboys to complain no matter what on wanting him to be bigger. Deal with it.

dont forget to pick up the saga of sandman graphic novel today in comic stores. next week will be the birth of venom graphic novel. its a collection of the characters in the comic book series. Its a must for those who are interested in the origin stories.

I am really hoping that venom bites a chunk out of the sandman in the film leading to his death just because he wanted spider-man all to himself.

I can just picture it now. After a heavy battle at the construction site with the giant sandman. He is about ready to finish spider-man off until.... from the dark corner a creature is lurking in the shadows. That creature makes a growl then quickly leaps out and throws sandman through a wall taking a bite out of sandman and saying a cool line like " Spider-man is ours only ! ! ! "

Spider-Man all distracted and confused from the beating he took from the sandman looks around and see's from the outside of the construction building mary jane webbed up in black webbing. Spider Sense is not going off but he gets that cold chill in back of his spine of something lurking in the shadows... all of a sudden he hears this growl and as quick as lighting a huge hand with claws reaches out for him and snaps him out of the screen fading to black for the next scene.

I hope sam raimi scares the crap out of us with venom as he did with his creatures in the evil dead series.... That would be awesome and no need to level it down for the kids because that would suck...

Even though the part where peter seems all confused looking around with his mask half ripped off and being attacked by venom without his spider-sense triggering was true and part of the wonder con 2007 trailer they saw.

Living legend assassinated on steps of Federal Courthouse

Earlier today, we reported on the attempted assassination of a former superhero. We can now confirm that the victim has been identified as Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America. Rogers was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital due to injuries suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to the shoulder, chest and stomach.


Eyewitness reports claim that the initial bullet, tagging Rogers in the shoulder, came from a sniper perched atop or in one of the buildings adjacent to the Federal Courthouse. Several other shots were fired during the ensuing commotion--hitting Rogers in the chest and stomach--but witnesses fleeing the scene, as well as the U.S. Marshals who were escorting Rogers, have stated there was only one sniper shot fired.

The identity of the assassin(s), as well as the origin of the other shots, have not yet been revealed. Agents from S.H.I.E.L.D., the FBI and local police are working together on the investigation and have begun combing the buildings in the area. A S.H.I.E.L.D. spokesperson declined to comment on the shooting, and stressed that few details regarding the investigation would be available while it's being conducted.

Rogers, a veteran of World War II, thought lost during the close of those hostilities, returned to action decades later and was instrumental in the early days of the Avengers. He had been at the forefront of American superheroics until recently when he openly and violently opposed the U.S. government's Superhero Registration Act. As Captain America, Rogers battled pro-Registration forces last week in Manhattan until surrendering himself to S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. He was on his way to his arraignment when he was struck down earlier today.

Rogers has never been married and has no known living relatives.

What is with that one. I think that looks pretty bad. Everything else looks good, but that one is...

I think this means no Carnage because they seem to have combined Venom and Carnage- Venom seems more wirey and a little thinner than he originally is. Anyway, this movie should be awesome.


I love it- casting choices and costume designs (Harry) are really coming into focus. Just goes to show don't judge a movie before you see it.
