Well, it would seem that Meet the Spartans did better than rambo this weekend. I suppose I should go see it.

I think these parody movies are complete hit or miss. Anyone seen it?

What's your opinion on the Spartans?

No idea but I enjoyed Rambo. Not as good as the first but still better than Rambo helping the Taliban kill the commies.

My fiance saw it and said that it was barely funny.

And as for Rambo, I thought it was the best of the four. That's not saying much, really. But this one was somehow less silly and more gory.

please don't feed Meet the Spartans. I assume it would be no better than Date Movie or Epic Movie considering it was made by the same two guys again. Just because it's #1 at the Boxoffice dosen't mean it's good, i sugest waiting for it to hit Cable or something if you want to see it, nothing you really need to rush to the Theator for.

That's my 2 cents anyways.

Meet The Spartans may have done better in the box office but I guarantee Rambo is 5 times better than that piece of **** movie. I didn't see it but after Scary Movie 2 all those kinds of movies sucked royally. None of them are funny and just happen to be a waste of time and money. Not to mention they only put the funniest parts (if you can even call them that) in the commercials. I just Recently saw Epic Movie and I want that 1 1/2 hour that was taken from my life back and the writers fired. A friend of mine saw Meet The Spartans though and he said it was a crime against cinema. I usually never judge a movie without seeing it but this was probably just as bad as or maybe even worse than Date and Epic Movie.

I couldn't be paid to watch Meet the Spartans. Much like you couldn't pay me to watch Epic movie.

I lost all interest in these parody movies after Scary Movie 3. God that movie sucked ass. Never saw part 4.

Then Date Movie came out. And the previews looked funny. Thank god I rented that piece of garbage. I couldn't even finish watching, it was so damn stupid.

So screw Epic, and Spartans. These movies are a disgrace to the term parody. The only thing I find merely positive about this new installment is Carmen Electra. But even in all her glory, I won't watch this shitty movie.

Kudos!

I really hope no one on here has or is planning on going to see Meet the Spartans. It looks like a {edit} joke (no pun intended).

I honestly have no idea why someone would pay to have to sit through that movie.

BTW, here's a fun fact: on metacritic, Meet the Spartans is rated 8 out of 100. And no, 100 is not a typo.

You mean it was able to even get an 8 out of 100? Date movie was so terrible. I could barely stand the 2nd scary movie and have only seen parts of the 3rd on tv and it sucks just in those parts.
I want to know who greenlit those films yet we cant get a Justice League movie yet?
