I was checking to see if there was something... ANYTHING... about the news of a second Hulk film. I know that we won't hear anything until after the "Avengers" movie in 2012, but even so, I really hope there's a sequel to this.

So I did a search on what the latest news was, and I found this comment from the director of "The Incredible Hulk", Louis Leterrier:

Though Edward Norton doesn't seem that keen to slap on the CGI muscles again anytime soon, director [Louis] Letterier tells Moviehole that he would definitely do a sequel to his 2008 hit if asked.

He'd also love it if Norton would consider reprising his role as the scientist cum avenger.

"Yeah, he's a great actor and a great Hulk", Letterier says. "Sure. I'd return to it. I have some ideas. So many ideas for so many things."

The comments were found here:

I really hope he directs a second one. The first was easily my favorite film of 2008 (yes, moreso than "Iron Man" and "The Dark Knight") and I hope Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, William Hurt, Ty Burrell and Tim Blake Nelson return for a sequel.

'Nuff said.

What do you guys think of this news?

I very much enjoyed the Norton Hulk movie, and would love to see a sequel in the future. However fro various interviews it appears Norton is not too keen and Marvel would not be overly enthusiastic to have him back.

I've read several reports that have made similar statements over the last year or so, but nothing concrete has been announced.

My top movies of 2009

1. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
2. Star Trek
3. District 9
4. Curious Case of Benjamin Button
5. Transformers 2
6. Terminator Salvation
7. Watchmen
8. This Is It
9. Inglorious Basterds
10. Bruno
11. Wolverine
12. Friday 13th
13. Monsters Vs Aliens
14. Angels and Demon's
15. Hannah Montana

If Marvel/Disney allows Norton control over the script I bet he would return.

We all know the drama behind the scenes about him rewriting the script and not getting credit.
