Well, I will admit that I'm not entirely sure that I saw the shield (even though the guy had the area cordoned out), it's at least cool that I got to see it before someone figures out that it IS on YouTube and removes it.

ok that is WAY too brief and subtle. It's like one second long.
And in the action of the scene there is no way to see anything unless you pause it. Even then it looks like little more than dirty snow.

I'm 98% sure that Captain America's appearance was suppose to be an Easter egg in the movie.

But some idiot announced it in public which changed everyone's perspective towards this scene.
