Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
The Pheonix saga...can be re-written and changed many times. The idea is as always a bit mundane hero/heroine becomes more powerful...sacrafices self...dies..is reborn and dies again...in this case Jean Grey (whom I like very much).

How they will make it happen and not appear dated remains to be seen.

Perhaps Rachel (Jeans daughter from the future should be included).....also the Sentinels and HellFire Club.

Of characters to include...POLARIS (better than Storm) and definately a wild card..good tie in for Magneto...also HAVOK..(sexier than Cyclops)..and include a gay character (like Northstar..) The idea of Beast, Collosus, and Gambit add to the mix!

Forget Storm, if Halle is too good for the part then get an unknown for her..Storm is wonderful, and does not deserve Halle playing her. (Besides look what halle did for CATWOMAN).

The idea is good, and definately looking forward to the movie but what will set it apart from good vs excellent will be the script and character development.

It's going to be either bogged down by too many characters and too little parts for them or a trite script that will bore those of us familiar with the PHEONIX saga to pieces.

Hopefully, it will rock!
