X-Men: The Last Stand “Role Made For Van Damme?” — Geordie Boyo [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Surely its crossed your mind that the role of Gambit in X-Men 3 could potentially be Jean-Claude Van Damme? Somebody mentioned Johnny Depp...! Well, I think there's only one winner as far as who'd be ideal for that role. The only problem would be is that Van-Damme might be too big a name for the role in respect to the movie and other actors, but I don't think that's the case when you look at the cast. It would be an all-star movie with all-star x-men and not another Van Damme movie in my opinion and further more I think Van Damme could fulfil that role better than anyone else out there.
