Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
I've seen this movie at an AMC theater.
Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
The story was balanced and clear. The direction, based on the acting, was moderate. The special effects were visual wonders. After seeing the movie, I felt a taste of victory. I would recommend it. There was a moral message, I gathered, about doing the right thing for the wrong reasons and doing the wrong thing for the right reasons which described the villainous Magneto. Without any public announcement of Jean Grey's survival, Magneto shows up at the same time as Professor X (an interesting scene to say the least) knowing Phoenix was inside. The mutant Leech doesn't get anything out of being close to other mutants, and neither does he add anything to them, however the performance of that character is done well. The producer, director, and screenwriter seemed to have worked together on this movie. In terms of adaptation, Colossus doesn't speak Russglish and is seemingly underused for someone of that strength magnitude, but his part is played well. The death toll in X-men 3 is high. Magneto seems in the dark that any mutant who comes close to Leech will lose his power, or just doesn't care. Professor X obviously gets around, too. Based on box office success, a good movie.
