well who is of most importants tp hang out with the big boys of the brother hood- right behind magneto- i still think is was suposed to be gambit- and they thought the fans would be mad if he was in there for only a few minutes and decided to cut all teh scenes they could out with him in it- but the scene that was shot as a wide shot with magneto in it could not be edited out- so there is our few of gambit or someone reallllly important

If that's their Gambit, then the movie makers have a lot to make up for. He in know way looks like Gambit. The hair is wrong and the outfit is wrong. If they make a fourth movie and that's how the have Gambit (if they put him in the 4th) then I will not be seeing that disappointment.

its him becuase the guy from lost or one of those television shows says he was supposed to be gambit and the two look axactly alike in the pictures...except gambit had make up on in x-men

No, Josh Holloway (spelling???) was asked to play Gambit but declined because Gambit was to similar to Sawyer and he was afraid of being typecast.

but ok we know that he might not be gambit- really nobody know who he is- but he WAS suposed to be somebody important- a well known mutant- every mutant in this movie is "thier" version of the mutant- wolveriene doesnt exactly look like that in the comics...cyclopes' ray beam glasses thing doesnt exactly look like that in the comics...this is thier version
-every mutant up there with the "big boys" behind magneto was suposed to have an important role
-my question is, who do u think he WAS suposed to be in the movie- it has to be a well known mutant that is with the brotherhood- and keep in mind this is "thier" version

OK i get what your saying but keep in mind that some of the characters behind magneto isnt that important. Like spike wasnt that important in the movie and hes behind magneto, so this might just be one of those to make it look like the people that are there on top look stronger than the people on the bottom, who knows. Might be Mystique? like when magneto got the cure, the next day or so he was getting his powers back, so maybe she already by that time got her powers and impersonated another mutant to find out where he was hinding and then since magneto left her, she was mad and told the FBI? maybe? Also it could be gambit, i dont know ill check the dvd and see if he was in the final battle, but yea i see where ur going and it might be him.

Yeah, it was Spike or a character like Spike. If you check the credits, the actor's name is in there for a character named Spike.

That makes me laugh not you personally but does he play a completely different character out of lost compared too Gambit,no.I don't think it had any thing to do with him being type casted, it was probably because they offered him a small part which he probably didn't wonna waste his time with which is fair enough. For the last time its not him becuase you wouldnt even notice him if it wasnt for you pausing it and I mean how the hell could you point him out easily.It seems too far fecthed that it could be him and he's just an extra.The trouble with you guys is that you want it to be him becuase we all wanted to see him in one of them and its just wishfull thinking.

They offered him the role but he turned it down cause it was similar to his character on lost. Which makes sense in saying that he wants to expand his horizon...if he's always playing the same kind of character then people are going to think that's all he can do.

Theres no way that could be gambit. If this character WAS included in the movie, we'd know about him from a interview or something. They wouldnt just put him in for fun and say its him or not. Since hes a popular character, they would announce if hes in the movie.

Its long been debunked, the guy in the background as said by brett ratner was just nothing more than an extra. Apparently Brett liked the look of him and wanted him to stand out more from the other mutants in the crowed so he put him up on the stand with the other main mutants. Was featured in one of those movie magazines.

This is why it's not Gambit:


1. The morons behind the X-Men movies know that the fans really want Gambit. So if they were going to put Gambit in the movie even as a cameo, they would have made sure we knew about it.

2. Some idiot in a trench coat who looks NOTHING like Gambit and is not worthy of playing Gambit is not Gambit regardless of what the studio says. At least, that's my opinion.



As much of the country is left stranded for Christmas due to a storm, I wonder what are their thoughts on the credibility of Global Warming? HAHA...

I really do doubt that's Gambit. I know he was cut from the movie but It would have been nice to see Gambit be in the movie.
I guess we will have to wait till X-Men 4 to see him.
