| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

Ive read so many peoples responses stating that without Arnold there is no Terminator.Sorry but Arnold played one model of a series of Terminators like the ones that kept coming in T2 and T3 Different models of a army of Terminators incase some werent paying attention to the film and the core of the films premise.Machines rule the future and we are at war with them in the future.This is the whole point of the story.Arnold is but one model, not the whole movie.I didnt go to see T2 because of Arnold I went because of the story and the interesting paradox storyline.
Yes Arnold has been a key player and he is at the heart of the franchise but by no means the end of the story if he doesnt play a role.Ive suggested a possible plot to where he does have a role but this time as a human being possibly a scientist who survived the great blast deep in a shelter in Cyberdyne itself who falls prey to the machines and is used for technical information and eventually as a clone for the terminator after he is captured and killed .So that once more he could play a role and once again be the good guy who becomes the victim like in T2 but without the stunts he may have to perform as in T1-T3.This is just an idea about a series Ive loved since I was 14 years old when it first came to the big screen.To me the story is about the frailty of humanity ,the greed,ignorance and the centerpiece of all our hopes John Connor who is bestowed with the great burdon of being our savior whether he wants it or not .Its not about Arnold ! |
