February 17, 2009 — One of the more prolific writers of movie adaptations, Alan Dean Foster, has confirmed that he's working closely with JJ Abrams team on the book version of the upcoming film. "This month's update is going to be really, really brief," said Foster on his website, "I had to fly into Los Angeles last week to, among other things, see the new STAR TREK movie at Paramount.
