Which did you like better? Due to the pathetic acting and child-like CGI in Star Wars episode 2, I'm going with TRek!

The prequels have some of the most atrocious acting I've ever seen, even though 3 was great. I'm going with Trek.

To let you know the new Star Trek is not a remake. It's a continuation, prequel, and a reboot. Spock Prime is from the Star Trek The Next Generation era. He just has gone back in time and changed everything.

Technically it was Nero who changed the past, not Spock Prime.

He's right for the most part. The new film takes place in an alternate continuity, so the term 'remake' isn't entirely appropriate.

Remake isnt't appropriate at any point. It wasn't remaking anything.

Isn't it a remake of the orignal series? I'm not a star trek nerd so please excuse me if I made a mistake. All I knew was that it was a new version of the old series with Kirk which sounds like a remake to me, even if it had different and cheesy bad guys.

You can't call a movie version of a TV series... a remake just cause it was based off the TV series. That's not a remake. That's like saying The Simpsons movie was a remake of The Simpsons TV series. It was a movie all it's own. Not a remake. It would only be a remake if it was based off of an existing movie, like if it was a remake of Star Trek the Motion Picture.

I'm absolutely Surprised. Star Wars Episode 2 is by one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. It had a few good moments but all in all, you could shut off the film midway in front of group of people and see if anyone cares.

Though certainly the weakest entry in the series, it was not the most boring movie I'd seen by any means.
