I don't care what people say. The Phantom Menace is an awesome movie. And as good as the Trek film is, it'll never compare to any Star Wars movie.

I didn't like Phantom Menace that much, or any of the Star Wars prequels, but this new Star Trek is completely devoid of anything that made Star Trek what it is.

So, I give it to Phantom Menace. At least it was true to Lucas's source material and mythology.

The new Star Trek was merely a sci-fi movie of some kind with the label "Star Trek' slapped on it.
