Remember last year, when Joshua Jackson ("Shutter", TVs "Dawson's Creek") was said to have been cast as young Irwin 'Fletch' Fletcher in the terminally-troubled "Fletch Won"?
Well, you can forget about Pacey wearing bad disguises - according to Jackson, it's not happening.
The actor tells MTV that he was attached to it at one stage, but once again, the film has been shelved.
"In the way that rights are assigned in this business, when it didnt happen last summer, I think the rights went back to [a] different person. So the guy that offered me the job, I dont think owns it anymore, which is unfortunate."
On a side note, did you know Jackson was up for Batman at one stage, too? Man... this poor sod, he's come this close to such great roles and then, um, is forced to settle for "Shutter".
