While he says he backed off a big screen version of The Green Hornet six months ago (he wrote the script and was going to direct), he's still eyeing a new "Fletch" and hopes to go with his first choice in the title role.
"I'm so delighted Jason [Lee (My Name is Earl)] is getting the recognition he deserves. Maybe now I can make a Fletch film staring Jason I've wanted to do that for five years."
