March 21, 2003 — Heath Ledger told the Moviehole Web site that he's up for a part in Mel Gibson's fourth Mad Max movie, Fury Road, but will not play Max's son:
"I did say to [director] George Miller Id do a walk-on role in it and have Mad Max shoot me in the head," Ledger told the site. "Itll be cool just to be part of a Mad Max movie. I certainly wasnt up for the son role, though."
