January 9, 2003 — Dark Horizons report that George Miller has stated in a recent interview that it is likely Robert Downey Jr. will star alongside Mel Gibson in this sequel. George also states that he is interested in bringing back faces from the previous movies. The script is almost done and filming is to start early this year.
