Mad Max director Mr. George Miller, I hope that you read this post. It would be in your best interests to check it out.
After watching Clive Owen in "The International" and "Shoot Em Up" I for one strongly believe that Owen should be cast as the new Max in Mad Max 4: Fury Road. He's got the rough edge look to him and the rough acting style that would fit Max to a tee. Some argue that he's not Australian. Who cares? Mad Max 4 was being set to film in a totally different country anyway, so what difference does it make whether or not the actor is Australian.? No difference at all. Casting a 'no name' actor in such a high octane franchise as the Mad Max series would be a huge mistake. Gibson announced years ago that he wasn't returning as Max and director George Miller said he doesn't want him back anyhow. So, Gibson is done. Owen's mean style he executes in his characters is brutal and cutting edge. I believe that Owen is the ultimate choice as Max. He has the look and style of Max. Russel Crowe is another choice but Owen fits the bill perfectly.
