Here's more news that will probably be dismissed in a couple of days. According to the always reliable IMDb, Rick Rosenthal (who directed the last Halloween film, Halloween: Resurrection) is now helming the ninth installment of the series.

i don't think this is a great idea as Halloween: Resurrection kinda shows. I think John Carpenter is the man for the job as most Halloween lovers would agree.
