ShockTillYouDrop.com is reporting that Rob Zombie may return to direct a follow-up to his 2007 film, Halloween, which starred Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Tyler Mane, Scout Taylor Compton, Brad Dourif, Danielle Harris and William Forsythe. If he indeed takes on the sequel, it would probably mean Tyrannosaurus Rex is being pushed back.

Producer Malek Akkad recently said that the Halloween sequel would begin pre-production in January with shooting to start sometime in March. Tyler Mane is expected to be backs as Michael Meyers.

OK so which ending are they gonna use exactly? I know of only 2 but he died in both.

1. Lorrie shots him in the head. Loomis dies (michael cracks his head).

2. Cops shoot Michael down dead. Loomis lives.

At the end of Rob Zombie's Halloween you see Laurie shoot the gun towards Micheal but you don't see him being actually shot so obviously he isn't dead or we wouldn't be having a sequel .
As for Zombie directing the sequel well I suppose it's a good thing as he did a good job on the first one but I think I would have rather had the French guys who left the project .

I thought Rob zombie took the original Halloween and then took a giant turd over it in the remake. The mystery behind Michael Myers in the original series were largely what made him scary and iconic. The extended childhood and scenes in the asylum were intended as "character development" for Michael, but took away some of what made him so "iconic".

And beyond that, the film was largely a soft-core porn flick with some added gore, which would be ok, just not in Halloween.

loomis was faking dead, and since when does michael die from getting shot, especially in the face!

Goddamnit you people.Rob RUINED Halloween with the last one.He made Michael go from a mysterious ghostly type slasher to some retard trailer park imbred hick who got a boner from his sister and then liked to stab things.

Everyone in Rob's movie were unlikable jerks and all deserved to die.In the original they friggen tried to give a sense of realism and not Friday the 13th slutty blond cast that cant keep their fake tits out of sight.

Michael wasn't considered human because it never was about who was behind the mask.It was about that inhuman unstoppable unreasonable evil he had.Unlike Jason who was simply a child and retarded,Michael was more intelligent than he appeared.

They took all that away in this boorish remake.Halloween Resurrection was a masterpiece to this.At least in that movie you didn't see little hanson hairdo Mikey screaming and his drunken father that I wanted to punch in the face.

Take a chill pill man it's only a movie if Rob Zombie does the second one so what ? he can only improve can't he .
