July 28, 2001 — Author Tom Clancy's was quoted in a Premiere piece as saying that his personal choice for a new John Clark is Matt Damon. (Willem Dafoe played Clark in 'Clear and Present Danger')
Paramount and Tom Clancy hope this will be a long series of Clark films (next up would be Without Remorse). An interesting tidbit? Clancy has a 'Good Will Hunting' poster up in his house.
