November 26, 2002 — Variety reports that Frank Cappello, who rewrote the script Timeline, an adaption of the Michael Crichton novel, has been hired to adapt the Tom Clancy novel, Rainbow Six.
"Six" follows Clancy's shadowy CIA agent creation John Clark who made small appearances in the form of Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger and Liev Schreiber in The Sum of All Fears.
In the book, Clark, an ex-Navy SEAL, joins with several colleagues to create an England-based multinational organization designed to battle terrorism.
