I think Liev Schrieber would be perfect to reprise John Clark for Rainbow 6. He was great as John Clark in the Sum Of All Fears he be perfect

I totally agree. I think he was absolutely amazing in the Sum Of All Fears. He gets my vote over ANY other candidate.

I would also definently vote Schrieber after Sum of all Fears.

But the reality is this, the producers will not cast him in this role no matter how good he is. Why? because he has no star power, the ordinary person will be like "Liev Schrieber?...im not gonna go see that."

And thats what sucks about movies today its all about the money rather then actually making the film as best as it can be. He wont be cast as Clark...

Official Zombie Hunter for hire Copyright 1998-2004

"You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end..."

Also, John Clark was getting old in the book, and really only did intel; they'd need an older person to play him. Harrison Ford maybe?

IF U WATCHED THE SUM OF ALL FEARS. OBVIOUSLY THE MOVIE DOESN'T HAVE TO FOLLOW THE EXACT STORY. AS FOR STAR POWER, JUDGING BY THE PUNISHER CASTING THOMAS JANE, WHY NOT LIEV FOR JOHN CLARK?

Well, Why would a young John Clark hold an administrative position? Clancy seemed to go out of his way to make Clark seem old, and Sum of All Fears was too oversimplified, they got nearly everything wrong. There were no Neo-Nazis in the book, were there?

Harry Ford is Jack Ryan so he cant be Clark.

I actually met Liev Schreiber in Egypt.

The Lord Of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Dark Tower by Stephen King

And shepards we shall be, for thee my lord for thee. Power hath descended forth from thy hand, so our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In nomine patrie et fili et spiritu sancti.

Schreiber as Clark is passable. He fits the character nearly identically, star power or not.

Liev Schreiber is Fantastic. He would be perfect as the action hero. He can play strong and sexy and ...Intelligent! Something most 'stars' can't pull off. Please, casting people, if you read this, cast Liev as John Clark. If you have any doubts, just wait 'til Manchurian Candidate comes out. You'll see what I mean. He is an amazing actor with a lot going on.
