Screenwriter: Michael Schiffer (The Peacemaker, Lean on Me, Crimson Tide); rewrite by Art Monterastelli (cowriter of The Hunted) Based upon: The novel of the same title by Tom Clancy, which features John Clark, who was played by Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger. Premise: It's up to ex-Navy SEAL (and former CIA operative) John Clark to lead a covert international anti-terrorist group called Rainbow (named after the many different "secret ops" groups and nations its members represent) to stop ecoterrorists who plan on releasing a plague at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, hoping to kill all human life on the planet, to free Earth from our reign.
