September 25, 2003 — Some rumors have been posted on the net that location scouting for Goonies 2 had started in Astoria, Oregon (where the first film was shot). Moviehole spoke to actor Corey Feldman to find out what was currently going on with the movie:

"I just got off the phone with Mr. Donner and I can tell you that the source of your information is incorrect. Although they are working on a script idea for the movie that is as far as it has gone at this point."
