Joe Pantoliano Talks About The Goonies 2

SUBMITTED BY Scooby

February 15, 2003 — Joe Pantoliano confirms the rumors about the possibility of The Goonies 2.

They are real, I talked to Donner [Richard] about it and I talked to Spielberg [Steven]about it, unsolicited Steven mentioned it and then I called Dick and he said Nah theyre working on the script, were working on the script. Im I going to be in it? I dont know but I didnt get killed off in it. [Laughs] And thats another reason why I did Daredevil is that I didnt get killed off in it. {b]times new roman[/b] The goonies 2 would be a great movie! but i mean my favorite movie is the goonies and im only 16 yrs old. lol. i think it would have a great hit on the younger teens, theyll be more interested. Especially if there is an adventure involved, with the old cast. The first adventure of the hit movie of '85 is still playing on television. In fact im watching it on "YTV" right now. All im saying is that they should make this movie because they don't really now how the public is going to react to it. They might love it, or they might hate it. They'll have to take a risk, and with a huge company like Warner Bros. they can afford to do it. I'll be in line waiting to get my ticket from my ticket master at our showcase 5 cinema as soon as it hits theatres. I'll even buy it on dvd.

yours truly,
mitch_tomi.
