ok id love to see this movie no doubt, but is everbody coming back ? lol i mean there grandads now compared to 1985. anyway if this movie comes out ill be 1st to see it especially if there all coming back

How would The Goonies 2 work. For one thing all the original actors grown, and sense Chunk is dead it would be hard for them to make it a reunion.
I don't think it will work, plus I'm tired of hearing about all these remakes and sequels too movies that DO NOT need sequels,such as this one.

Well I heard that the original Goonies had kids they go on an adventure get stuck and the older kids go and help them, WOW. Some films dont need a sequel and if they were gonna make one they should have done when they were still kids, it wouldnt be the same with new kids and they wouldnt be as funny.

Yeah, there shouldn't be a sequal.
  1. The cast is older and new kids wouldn't work
  2. It couldn't be better than the first
  3. It'll copy the same situation from the first and completely trash it out. Sandlot 2 anyone?
They can make this film if they want, I could care less.

I would have loved a Goonies reunion movie but that pirate ship sailed off a long time ago!!

Chunk isnt dead by the way...hes still alive. SLOTH and Ma Fratelli have both since passed on.

The Goonies will always be right up there with my favorite 80s kids adventure movies right along side another classic: The Monster Squad!!
