Spielberg's people contacted SpielbergFilms.com last week and told that them Steven Spielberg would not be directing Jurassic Park IV. It is still in development and there is no word on the director yet. Last week it was rumored that Steven Spielberg may take the director's chair if Joe Johnston didn't come back, but now it seems he will not take the chair no matter what.

Don't take my word for it? Take it from the source. Steven Spielberg's offices told SpielbergFilms.com today that, "You are indeed correct, Steven will not be directing Jurassic Park IV... Thanks for your debunking!"

It's the same thing they told us in March, and as stated above, the song remains the same no matter how loud the chorus of gossip grows online.

"Jurassic Park IV" is currently in development at Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Steven Spielberg will serve on the film as executive producer, and any way you slice it, once the film is released, it'll surely be an exciting time out at the movies!
