Steven Spielberg His Bearded Majesty Steven Spielberg is apparently so eager to get rolling on JURASSIC PARK IV that he's considering just going ahead and directing the damn thing himself. He favors JURASSIC PARK III director Joe Johnston but if things don't work out with Johnston (for whatever reason), Spielberg is apparently considering stepping behind the camera to cap things off right where they started - with his glorious, flowing beard. Of course, this does call into question the status of the long-gestating INDIANA JONES IV and considering JP4 is tentatively slated for a 2008 release, wouldn't that mean that Spielberg would have to do JP4 before INDY IV? Further, hasn't he mentioned several times that INDY IV will be his next directorial effort? Could this be a bullshit rumor? Perhaps but it is pretty exciting to think that Spielberg could be back directing another JURASSIC PARK. What do you guys think about it? Thanks to Faiz for the heads up.

oh wow i didnt know this,i had heard alot of stuff about new directors and then speilberg saying the movie would never happen,i hope he isnt trying to rush it because hes had problems getting it done,that would ruin everything

according to most of my searches, spielberg has passed the buck to joe, supposedly spielberg will be doing Indy 4 (BOOOOOO, HIIIIIIIISSSSSSSS), and joe will be working on JP4 (YAYAYAYA) at roughly the same time, spielberg will be checking in on progress much like he did in the third one. The idea of cancelling the 4th is unlikely, since after the 1st movie they signed an agreement to produce six in total (much like Lucas's egocentrically created Stars Snorefest (sorry if you are a fan, its not my fault you are a blind, deaf, mute...ISH)). They are just being extremely picky after Jurassic Park sucked the dino dooky off a stegosaurus's tail! (liked it only cause it was Jurassic Park)...so hugs, don't hate (that's my job)

Source of 6 jurassic parks?

Incase you havent noticed jurassic park was based on a book... So i dont think chricton would alow 6 jurassic parks...
