Ugh, does this crap never end?
"Oh my god, raptors were so cool, and now I found out there's a giant raptor, so thats even cooler! Jurassic Park should just bend itself over and **** itself even more! They already ruined Velociraptor, now let's add some new, lethargic maniraptorian that probably wasn't anywhere near as agile as the velociraptors due to its presumed size, into the mix! I don't care how idiotic my demands for larger raptors sound! More raptors! Raptors are leik ttly asum!"
Give it a rest! Dromaeosaurs weren't that great, and judging by how big they say this "megaraptor" is (assuming it's even a raptor), it was probably a lot slower in speed and a lot less agile.
Edit: It's not even a dromaeosaur! It's claw is a finger claw, because they found an entire forelimb!
Here, educate your dumb selves. http://en.wikipedia.org/w iki/Megaraptor
Maniraptorians were built to be fast moving, medium-sized predators. A "Megaraptor" would completely defeat the purpose of their evolutionary adaptations. "Earl, you hurt my feelings and embarassed me in front of my lunch!"

The velociraptor is the size of a large chicken. Thats why they hunted in packs, strength in numbers. they were around 2 feet tall
When the first movie was made they decided to make the velociraptor bigger then humans because the only thing scarier then a velociraptor is something much bigger that can move as quickly and hunt in packs. It would also cause tenson for those watching the movie. Seems scarier.
They had no idea at the time that they turned the velociraptor into the Utah Raptor until about a month before they released the movie. What happened? It was an extreme stroke of luck for the movie when paleantologist unearthed the fossils of the Utah Raptor. They had no idea that raptors could be that big.
So the movie lucked out and kept a foot on realism. I mean how lucky can you get?! A month before the movie comes out, something that was in the movie but didn't exist as far as anyone knew was discovered to actually have been in existence at one time.
Wahay! Someone who isnt retarded when it comes to These discussions! I would kiss you but im not...
LOL, well I try to inform the miss informed. Like in the Spider-man 3 forum, people say they hate a villian for a reason thats not true like Green Goblin having no powers or Electro and Shocker having the same powers. None of those are true, so why hate them for something thats not true? I'll respond by telling them facts that tell them why they are wrong.
This megaraptor isn't a very good idea though. Mainly cause they found only a fore arm and nothing else. Not to mention that its got a giant talon on its hand like the one other raptors have on their feet. That sounds a bit iffy to me, somehow I think they found a leg, not a fore arm but I'm not an expert. The stuff I said about the Utah raptor is a fact about the movie I learned a little after the movie came out and it stuck with me. I thought it was interesting enough that I never forgot it lol Oh snap!! This thread just got served
