October 18, 2004 — IESB caught up with Ben Affleck at the premiere for Surviving Christmas where he mentioned that he would consider reprising his role of Matt Murdock if Fox would negotiate to tell some of the darker storylines - more specifically Kevin Smith's "Mysterio" or "Born Again"
Until then you can see Affleck in Surviving Christmas and later as Murdock in Elektra.
