The director's cut is so much better than the theatrical cut. It adds over 30 minutes of crucial story. It has a side story that explains how Murdock knows Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin. Its not that he just knows, all he really knew about Fisk was that he wasn't any good.
The side story involves the case of the prostitute that Murdock hears as he is going into his salt bath/bed and the man accused of killing her(Coolio).
Its so much better since things are developed so much better. Jon Favruex even has a much bigger role in the director's cut. After seeing that version you realize that Daredevil was a victim of producers wanting a shorter movie resulting in more showings regardless of what the story became. Those producers should be ashamed of themselves. Oh snap!! This thread just got served
