I dont know something about him being blonde really bothered me. But I saw Casino Royale on saturday and I really liked it, but my feeling going into it was i didnt think i was going to like it. I was still pissed about the whole Pierce Brosnan thing. I mean, for me he was Bond.,thats not saying Connery wasnt freaking awesome, but he's the one I grew up with. Anyway. I saw it and thought it was a good movie, but not a good Bond movie. Then today I went and saw it again and I got to say, now that I got over that Brosnan isnt Bond anymore I realized Daniel Craig is an amazing Bond. Just as good as Connery if not better. Casino Royale is definatly now my favorite Bond movie. But anyway, the point of this diatrob is to ask. What is your favorite Bond Film? and if it is Casino Royale, whats your second favorite? I think that given a better script and what not he would have been remembered more highly then what he was. But he was just Bond... cold, dark, smart, sometimes funny, and could be charming but he was Bond. My second though is Craig... Connery sure was the first but I think Craig is the definite article. He made you (well at least me) really sit back and say yeah there is someone out there that is doing this. That someone has this training and makes you live this life. Craig made Bond believable again... which is the new purpose... Peirce did the job of making peopel find Bond entertaining again. Two different purposes. Though I feel that Craig is more of a natural fit for this character the Peirce was. My fav would have to be Roger Moore.Sean Connery was great and Pierce Brosnan was good also. Danile Craig is different whether hes any good were have to wait any see but has any one noticed that hes the first bond to have light hair instead of dark so we are really in the modern day Bond films. Timothy Dalton I have tried so hard to erase from my memory (he sucked) and Roger Moore was good, but far from the best. Daniel Craig was better than I expected, but I'm still undecided.
