The last film made about this guy was around thirty years ago, and I've never understood why someone hasn't made another. Alexander was an amazing person, I studied him in college, you don't need to change anything about his life to make a great story.
As someone who loves the story of Alexander the Great (and is doing a major piece of writing on him for my final year of high school) I am STOKED that there's a movie being made about him...
My only worry is if they leave anything out about him. sure, his story is amazing, but the finer details -- the controversial details -- are the ones that create a legend.
Get me?
Old fashioned respect for the young is fast dying out...
Remarkable people always have something about them, charisma, or something that sets them apart. Alexander was certainly a genius at certain things. I just hope they can bring out that side of the characterization, and not get mired in the Hollywoodisms
