Owing to delays in the shooting schedule, and the sheer volume of work that has to be done, Director Baz Luhrmann has moved production of his version of Alexander the Great into 2005.

Baz Luhrmann's Alexander

So now we're down to one production...

Umm, no, we still have two ventures. Baz has decided to push back production of his film a bit, that's all.

But yes, I am glad to see it is no longer the 'race' that the media has insisted on making it. Both Stone and Luhrmann are passionate about their own separate Alexander films, and I look forward to seeing both of them make it to the big screen.

There must be some progress if they are looking for a young Alexander, as per the news story.
