I am a huge fan of Baz Luhrmann and believe he will make an inspiring movie that is meticulous to detail. I believe Baz will pay careful attention to all aspects of Alexander's life, and he will do his best to make sure Alexander is given the recognition he deserves. 'Alexander the Great' is set to be different from Baz's past ventures, and the film is reported to become the second biggest production in history with a budget of around US$150 million.
I am very excited to see how Baz handles the material, and I will be devotedly following the progress of his film over the next couple of years. I can only hope that people will support Baz and his team in bringing this remarkable epic to life on the big screen.
I have recently created a fansite dedicated to Baz Luhrmann and all his works, with a dedicated section following the progress of 'Alexander the Great'. Feel free to visit 'Baz the Great!' at:

Baz Luhrmann certainly has a talent for painting cinematic pictures, and he's innovative. Those might be really good qualities on a film of this size and scope.
I wonder how much of Alexander's life its going to account for? Or will they pick a critical point in his life to concentrate on?
