Being a huge Steven Soderbergh fan and by enjoying Oceans Eleven as much as I did, a sequel sounds great in my opinion.

What about all of you? Yay or nay to 'Twelve'?

Yeah, I was a little unsure if I wanted there to be a sequel to O11 when rumors started circulating, because I'm not very fond of that many franchises and I feel Sodie's too talented to be tied down to the same material again...

... But then again, it was a fun ride with the gang and 012, if it happens, will undoubtfully be just as fun. Although I'm not very sure on who the twelth member may be, my best guess would be Sam Rockwell.

If you're not farmiliar with the name, it's for good reason. He starred in Welcome to Collinwood , co-starring with George Clooney, which was a Soderbergh-produced film. Sad thing is that the film has done poor business at the BO. But perhaps Rockwell's starring role in the upcoming Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (directed by Clooney, also produced by Sodie) will put him on the map. Considering the close film relationship between Clooney and Soderbergh, Sam would be a natural choice.

What about this...
At the end of O11 we see that Clooney's character and Julia Roberts' character get back together. Could this possibly create a void in O12 without the romantic sub-plot?

Definately yes, whats up with this board hardely anyone posts. anyhow i can't wait for this to come out. is there any news on the cast and plot, maybe it carries on from those 2 fat guys following daniel oceon with tessy and brad pitt in the car. I do hope all the cast return for this movie do make O12 a success. It could still be succuss if if thye dont have the original cast but surely george clooney, brad pitt, julia oberts, damon and few of the other guys return. What do you guys wanna see happen in o12?

a very big nay they have went too far with sequels now for movies that are just too epic to have one e.g. the matrix, star wars, the lord of the rings i understand i got a bit miffed when i heard of a sequel to the whole nine yards but come on this is going to far a sequel to a remake think of that for a second and mark wahlberg is a horrible casting idea i cant even count how many remakes he has been in his last original movie was rock star and that was loosely based on judas preist and it was a horrible horrible movie but maybe im just ranting

tess was in o11 so it cant be her. I really dont know who i want it to be.....o11 was great but the sad part is usally the sequels aren't as good.....but dont get me wrong others movies are different.I hope o12 is as good or better yet better! I dunno who would be # 12 i really cant think of anyone who would be a good role for this movie. but what ever people say "good" or "bad" i'm gonna @ the theaters opening night!

I really don't like the idea of it right now, but when the remake came out I also didn't like the idea and then I saw it and I thought it was excellent. The good thing about the Soderbergh version is that he made it a totally different movie for him to be able to make "Oceans Twelve". I have mixed feelings for this right now because this isn't a sequel for the classic movie; its a different set of films all together.

this movie is gonna rock, news is its set in europe, with c.zeta jones as an agent after them, who has a past w/ pitts character, as for garcia he could be chasing them through europe as he said he would get clooneys character, in the 1st and the car following them at the end looks suspious!!!!
