This film and Tim Burtons Big Fish have a hell of alot in common.
Most of the film is told through one man. Most of what he tells is a tall tale.
It constantly goes backwards and forwards between the present and the past.
What happens is some spoilers (you should read to understand).
The film opens with Nameless going to the kingdom. ect ect
He is in the main temple talking to the king. Nameless tells the king a story of what he had done a few days prior.
The story goes for about 20 minutes.
Then it cuts back to nameless and the king..the king says "that was a lie, I know. Tell the truth" (he doesnt say those exact words).
So nameless tells the story again...but its compleatly different. That lasrs for about 20 min again. it cuts to nameless still in the temple with the king. the king says it again so Nameless tell the story yet again but its compleatly different again.
this film goes get compleatly confussing and ever more because of the subtitles...the last story Nameless says is the truth. it all formes together and you go "Ohhhhhh. Didnt see that coming".
the storys Nameless tells are action packed
so 90% of this story is bull####. same with big fish..its about a bull#### artist (a "tall tale teller")
did you enjoy reading that? Im good at giving a synthesis on a film without spoiling it
